Acceptable Use Policy is the rights an author permits one to use their work. Artists have control over how their work will be shared. It not only states what is acceptable use but also what is not acceptable. Creators can also request payment for use of their work. Intellectual freedom is designed to allow one to have the freedom to express their opinions. Not only is one allowed to express their opinions, they are also able to seek and receive information about many topics from different points of views. Intellectual Freedom looked down on censorhsip and allows one the freedom to receive and discuss ideas without restrictions. Plagiarism is the excessive amount of words or ideas from another artist without giving proper credit to the artist. An example is when a large amount of words or pictures are used not stating where the work was created originally. Information needs to be cited correctly. Even when a piece of work isn't copyrighted, it is important to cite the state of origin. |
